Alphaville is an upscale neighborhood in the municipalities of Barueri and Santana de Parnaíba, in the state of São Paulo. Conceived by engineers Yojiro Takaoka and Renato Albuquerque, partners of the company Albuquerque Takaoka[2], it is considered the first attempt to artificially create a large neighborhood in Brazil.[3] It is made up of a series of high-end gated condominiums, called Residential, as well as an industrial and business center.
